Applications are invited for the position of minister of the Vryburg United Church (Congregational, Methodist and Presbyterian)

The Vryburg United Church is based in Vryburg, a rural town situated in the midst of a large farming community. The church serves the local Vryburg congregation, and three outstations situated in Magogong, Stella and Tlakgameng respectively.

Our current minister, who has served us well for more than 25 years, is retiring. We invite applications from experienced, ordained ministers to apply for the position. Applicants do not necessarily have to be from the Congregational, Methodist or Presbyterian denominations.

We are trusting God to provide us with a new minister who:

• Is spiritually mature and God-centred.
• Is an effective preacher and teacher of the Bible and its application to our daily lives.
• Has the ability to lead our diverse congregation with enthusiasm, energy and integrity.
• Will be especially committed to the development of our youth and their spiritual growth within our Christian principles.
• Has good organisational, management and people skills.
• Has the ability to adapt and integrate not only into our congregation, but also our beloved town and rural/agricultural community.
